While the girls exchange the gifts, Sensei and Imani stand together in the Golden Hall, and Sensei once again thinks about Imani as a person, how meaningful she is to him. But he begs Imani to speak with him, to interrupt the inner soliloquy, running through his mind with a staggering speed.
