Synopsis
After Ayane has left, Sara immediately felt the new information her young guest brought up to be decaying her from inside out. After all, Sara was not prepared for Sana to fit into her shoes and, more importantly, to participate in what her daughter had prepared for her.
On the one hand, Sara was pondering about her own past and sharing her thoughts with the inner voice. She couldn't abruptly cut Sana from whoever brought her happiness, even if it was the man she loves. After all, her carelessness and mistake has led to the birth of her beloved children and the life she had now. On the second hand, her motherly instincts and protectiveness were slowly replaced by pride, in a weird way. Did it mean that Sana acknowledged Sara and was sharing her happiness? She could only guess.
With that in mind, Sara reminisced even further. In her teenagehood, Sara was overwhelmed with a desire to have a constant purpose in life, and perhaps, the attention from the adult man, her teacher, was the exact thing which Sara required so passionately. Sana might have felt just the same, from Sara's point of view. Overall, her assumptions were not enough to lead her to the one specific conclusion. In a strange way, Sara felt that her daughter's freshly discovered relationship helped her get closer to Sana.
Further on, Sara deepened into her past memories and how she behaved way back when. She focused on the vital detail: the visions, that could have randomly caused a tragic accident at any moment, interrupting her life. That's why Sara feared 'becoming a ghost' all of a sudden, so the attention she received from various sources only cheered her up and breathed fire into her, reminding that she is still alive. This way, the lustful and curious glances of passing-by strangers, her bond with the teacher, and other signs of attraction were a great contrast to Sara's home environment, which could slowly drive crazy or put out the blaze of life in any child.
In the end, Sara continued to sit at her bar and delay the inevitable development of the situation, as she still had no strength to cope with these events, make up her mind and take the right course of actions.
