He turns around and, as the world seems to freeze in time, [[Yasu]] gives him a cryptic note, making him wonder if she finally snapped. After making more ringing noises, Yasu disappears as sudden as she appeared and, as time begins to move again, Otoha gets a phone call from her parents. Sensei decides to talk with Rin, Otoha and Nodoka. He immediately comments on Nodoka’s calm demeanor despite drinking for a while and mocks Otoha and Rin for not drinking, but they state that they didn’t like the taste when they tried it at the Dorm War's after party. Rin confesses that they kissed, much to Otoha’s dismay, and gives a detailed description of the event to Sensei and Nodoka.
