Synopsis
After helping Sara to decorate her bar and getting a stuffed bear for Miku, Sensei arrives at the hotel where the Christmas party takes place and finds Chika and Tsubasa chatting in the lobby. He asks why the latter is here and learns that she takes care of Chinami and her daughter in a separate hotel room. She promises that his future sister-in-law will be fine, which causes a quick flashback. Both women notice that and ask if he’s okay, but he moves on and wants to know where Miku is so he can give her her gift. Chika points out that the exchange happens as a group event later and Sensei has to figure out what to do with it in the meantime. Tsubasa decides to make sure her daughter behaves herself, reminds Sensei to take good care of her surrogate daughter and leaves.
After struggling to get another conversation started, Sensei asks Chika if she’s fine since Chinami confessed to her that she isn’t sleeping well when he visited them recently. She confirms that, but assures him that it’s just a result of her trying to adjust to their agreement to take things slower and that she will be fine since she endured worse things in the past. She wouldn’t mind a confirmation of his love for her to tie her over and Sensei, feeling generous during Christmas, gives her one.
Sensei makes his way to the hotel room and meets Futaba and Touka on the way. He hands the bear to Touka, who thinks it’s a present for her and isn’t surprised to learn that he just wants her to hold it until the exchange. When Futaba asks why he wants her to do that, Touka explains that he likes to torment her for unknown reasons, but he assures her that he only likes to take advantage of her kindness. Sensei does that again by telling her that she startled the bear by yelling at him, which she falls for. After Touka explained her reason for thinking that the bear might have feelings, she and Futaba acknowledge how many similarities they found between them during their conversation. Sensei mentions that one similarity is how well-endowed they are, making both of the mad.
He decides to leave and manages to convince Touka to look after the bear by taking advantage of her kindness again. While she doesn’t mind watching over it, she requests that he looks if Yasu is doing okay, because she seems to be hypnotized by the karaoke machine and doesn’t react to anything else. He agrees and offers Futaba to check on her roommate as well, but she doesn’t think that this is necessary. He enters the hotel room after that.

- The comment about helping Sara to decorate her bar only happens if you didn't see Engulfed. Otherwise that part is skipped since that event takes place at the bar.
