| synopsis = Sensei arrives at the sport track earlier than usual and uses Miku’s absence to consider if he should accept her offer of becoming the team’s coach. To his surprise she is already there getting some training done. She explains that she always will be the first one there regardless of the weather, which makes them realize that the weather hasn’t changed at all in their time in Kumon-mi. When Sensei mentions that it’s only been a few days for him, Miku wonders if he is part of a body swap scenario. After a short conversation about that he wonders where the other team members are. Miku explains that they come later than her and that she is pretty easy-going about their arrival. Sensei points out that this attitude might bite her in the ass one day, to which she retorts that there isn’t much to bite in the first place. When he asks if she wants a compliment about her butt, she declines since she learned from documentaries that this wouldn’t end well.

Surprised about that he tries to encourage her to learn more, but when she shows her lack of intelligence again, he changes the subject to why she wants him to be their new coach. Miku explains that the club will be disbanded if they can’t get anyone and Sensei is just the first one she could ask. He explains that this is a pretty bad sales pitch causing the conversation to digress due to Miku’s confusion. He further explains that he wouldn’t be the best candidate due to his lack of experience and poor memory for names. When Miku wants to know what talent he could bring to the table, he mentions his manual dexterity. Miku interprets that as being good at giving massages and offers him the opportunity to give everyone a massage after training without coming across as creepy. He asks if he could do that without becoming their coach but Miku points out that this would be weird since most on the team have no experiences with boys. This includes her since she believes no one would date her due to her boyish looks, but she isn’t interested in dating anyway.
After a bit of banter over the team and the fact they haven't yet arrived, and a bit of a slump where Miku becomes sad about not having a big butt, Sensei steers the topic to why Miku wants him to become the coach for the team, and she says the last coach became pregnant and couldn't teach, and that the team will be disbanded if they don't find a new one. Miku becomes scatterbrained for a lengthy period before Sensei focuses the topic back onto soccer, but Miku comments that eventually, she'll hit her growth spurt and be as big as Futaba. Sensei tells her to aim for someone closer to Rin's size, as Futaba is excessively large for someone her age and entirely unrealistic as a goal.
Though, she still hopes that her growth spurt kicks in and that she could rival Futaba one day. Sensei suggests to keep her expectations reasonable and aim more towards Rin’s size.

When asked why he was visiting her in the first place, he explains that he was on his way to the cafe Rin works at. This prompts Miku to compliment Makoto since she also frequents the same cafe and starts comparing her to a caramel machiatto. When Sensei wants to know if Miku has a crush on her, she confesses that Makoto buys her lunch in exchange for talking her up to Sensei and offers the same service to him. He asks if she really plans to earn her money like that, to which she replies that, due to her poor grades and no guarantee of becoming a professional athlete, that’s what she most likely has to do. The conversation ends when the other girls arrive and Miku leaves Sensei to start their training.
Through a weird conversation that tails off of Sensei mentioning how he'd thought about stopping at the cafe, Sensei finds out that apparently Makoto has been paying Miku to talk her up to Sensei. After a discussion about Miku's future, where she resolves that she'll be okay with whatever happens so long as she's happy with the path she chose, the rest of the team starts rolling in, and Miku departs from Sensei, bidding him farewell to practice with the team, and Sensei leaves to go about his day.

Synopsis

Sensei heads to the soccer field relatively early, and becomes absorbed in an inner monologue until Miku calls out to him. She asks him if he had come to watch her practice, and he affirms this. Sensei remarks on the weather and how it would affect Miku's consistency in showing up to practice, and she finds it weird as well. She remarks on a comment Sensei makes about his time in Kumon-mi, and hypothesizes about a body-swap scenario, telling Sensei Makoto would be very disappointed to find said thing out. Sensei tries to make a suggestive comment, but it flies completely over Miku's head.
