Maya wakes Sensei on the day of the second beach trip. She says that she can't predict what will happen from this point on. Sensei notices that she isn't wearing her scarf — she says that she doesn't want to risk losing it. Sensei goes to greet Ayane, Ami, and Sana. Karin also arrives, and is flustered about being in Sensei's house. She has told Kirin that she is coming on the trip. As they all get on the bus, Sensei gets a text from Niki asking if he's busy — he replies that he is, but that they can do something when he gets back.
