This fact worries her as she feels like he would've told her about it, and while she would like to confirm this herself, she's too scared to learn the truth, but Yumi tells her to take her time as she most likely won't go anywhere as long as Sensei stays around.

Appreciating her words of encouragement, Chika breaks the news to Yumi that she's now engaged to Noriko due to her loss in the race, but before she can question this, the next contest is about to start.

Synopsis

The second half of the Dorm Wars begins, and Imani panics as it's already evening and the end of the school day. Therefore, she has to make sure they get the last three outdoor activities out of the way quickly so they can reach the location she booked for the final two contests before night falls. The next contest is the relay race, and Imani promises that there aren't any surprises or weird additions this time, though Ayane questions the validity of that statement.

The contestants, Ayane, Chika, and Miku for the first floor and Kirin, Noriko, and Touka for the second, are already gathered and are exchanging taunts and boasts. After revealing who's running against whom, Noriko asks Chika for Yumi's hand if she wins, and she agrees as long as she can have Niki's hand if she wins. Noriko doesn't mind, though warns her that she has to pry her off of Sensei for that, which stuns and confuses Chika. She can't question what this means, though, as Imani blows her whistle, which startles Miku but thankfully doesn't trigger a breakdown, and the girls have to take their positions.

When Wakana imitates a gun shot, the race begins and Chika and Noriko run the first part of the race together, with Imani reading out mostly made up information about the runners to make things more interesting for viewers, and both reach the second runners, Ayane and Touka, almost simultaneously, though Noriko wins by a second. Touka, being more athletic then Ayane, gets a head start and stays ahead of her, with Ayane stumbling and falling on the ground at some point. Touka hands her baton to Kirin, giving her the lead in the race, but when Ayane gets permission to throw hers, Miku catches up easily. As they head towards the finish line, it's revealed there actually was a twist to this race as Imani placed a gigantic banana in front of it, blocking their path to victory. Miku decides to jump over it and, after actually managing it, earns the victory for the first floor, whereas a defeated Kirin walks around the banana, because them realizing they could was the actual solution to that obstacle.

With the race over, Chika joins Yumi and laments the fact that she lost two competitions in a row, whereas Yumi is more worried by the fact she has to participate in death ball, meaning she might die in a few minutes. Seeing that this might be their last conversation, Chika asks Yumi if Noriko claiming Niki is dating Sensei is true or not, feeling like this might be possible, because Noriko and Sensei share a past so him meeting and dating Niki would be plausible, but also doubting it due to Niki being a famous pop idol, and Yumi wouldn't be surprised if this is the case.
