Synopsis

Io talks to Sensei outside. They discuss her views on Halloween costumes, the need for validation, and whether Sensei gains anything from hanging out with her. He wonders about the "rationale behind tonight's suspiciously composed breakdown", and she says that it's a "cry for attention" — she worries that if she doesn't do more, he will lose interest in her. Yumi arrives, and Io goes inside. Sensei gives Yumi the present from her mother, and Yumi tells him to go away. Inside, Ami wants to know what Sensei was talking about with Noriko, since Noriko has fled to a bathroom somewhere. They go looking for Noriko without success, and Ami may or may not take advantage of the fact that they are now alone.
